Indiana Bookmark

I am really torn whether to watch it or not. Probably not.

My wait is over. Others have bashed Michigan this year and now it is my turn.  It is so hard to predict college football, let alone games, I held out. I thought they were going to get killed by Oklahoma and instead I thought it was breakthrough and even wrote it -- a triumph for Kyle Whittingham. It is not to be this year and it will probably get worse.

Curt Cignetti is 33-3 at Indiana. Indiana!

They could have should have beaten Ohio State.  Penn State is not a good team.  Indiana's defense this year is ranked higher than Michigan's. Starting a freshman is crazy desperate. We we really see the impact of money because if winning and embarrassment are factors the Wolverines will have a big exodus of talent after this season.

Blowing a horn to announce a meeting is not discipline. Sixteenth in 24/7 recruiting rankings is maybe OK today (Indiana is 31st).  What is the difference for the success?  I'll have to ask AI.  It looks as if it is intensity; Cignetti has it, Whittingham doesn't.

To understand Michigan football look to the aura, a different word for brand.  Penn State just had 114,000. Other teams outspend Michigan. Michigan is middle of the pack in the Big Ten.

How good are UCLA and Oregon this year?  Ohio State and Indiana are out of Michigan's league. Does Michigan State have any fight? Rutgers is about right, given you never know.

The list on Whittingham is getting long. Un-injured list (Zack Marshall); offensive staff said put Tommy Carr in (not Whittingham); rhino; Jason Beck's personality; Utah (i.e., not national).  The constant "I don't know" and defeated looks, sideline or otherwise do not help.

I think Whittingham will be exposed. Michigan will be embarassed. And Indiana will win big.
