Probably the most common comment, or commenter, is that he was successful at Michigan. That success was tainted long ago and the most common reaction beyond MgoBlog is cheaters never prosper (so to speak). Let's review.
Supposedly he is leaving and that is fine with me. He was or is still arrogant and permissive. That is a summary. Another one is he looks like Humpty Dumpty. And finally, him sitting in that big executive watch-suite and in the picture on everything.
It started with Pig Harbaugh. Warde gave him the moon and he was still gone. By the moon I mean I/we'll protect you in everything you do and pay you a fortune too. Gawd, the bidding and bidding and ass kissing to keep him. Anyone in their right mind would have said good, go, and bye. It is so weird, Michigan hasn't had a player problem in a long time. The coaches however, someone let them out of their respective cages.
Then there was Juwan for whom I never rooted against Michigan. It smacks of racism or should I say race favoritism. It was excruciating waiting for him to be fired.
Finally, Sherrone Moore. You couldn't invent a scummier person if you tried. You, or at least I could, see right from the beginning it was going to be a character issue. But he rewrote the book. Right out in the open, everyone knew and of course his family had to too. I don't know when we will ever see again someone fall so fast and so hard.
Then there's the hockey coach, gymnastics, and there was something with baseball too I think. All I can think of is a drunk Denard.
Michigan is the butt of every joke from here to Reddit. That is Warde's legacy. I mean, it isn't hard to put together. The overpriced report is coming out. I don't know what budget loophole was used to pay for it. It cannot remain completely hidden.
Dusty May and even L.J. Cason be damned too. I'm a Kyle Whittingham fan. Let them be acceptable as long as they're clean. And just stay long enough to not wear out your welcome.
