The Team

Insert picture of Harbaugh here.

First, the basketball team.  With Wilson and Wagner and the guard transfer they could be good.

As always Harbaugh is front and center.  Thankfully it is not as bad as last year with Florida spring practice and the satellite camp business.

Harbaugh’s motivation for the trip was to, as he has said on multiple occasions, put the student back in student-athlete. He has seen college football become a 12-month a year sport, and wanted the players to have some breathing room in May.

That is disingenuous.  It is mostly about team bonding and the opposite of forgetting about football.  After all, it is with the team and the coaches and there are practices.

Still, Harbaugh is establishing his culture.  If you don't want it at a level this intense and non-stop, it is not for you.

Looking at the football team.

Harbaugh has done an "A" job in sustaining and rebuilding a team with a ton of seniors.  Still, it is uninspiring.

Running back looks strong and Chris Evans may be the most exciting returning player. Karan Higden looks strong and versatile; Ty Issac is capable but for some reason it hasn't all clicked after quite a few opportunities; Kareem Walker is a high national recruit who hasn't played much.  Khalid Hill may be everything you could want in a fullback.  This group is strong.

Defensive line too looks very good.
