He will be missed, perhaps, by some or by many.

I think he is scary.  First, I am glad he is relieving himself of the stress.  That is dangerous.

When he said he laid down the law to the football team after the Purdue loss, I believed it.  Domineering, threatening, maniacal?  Intimidating.  I'm not sure what the right word is.  His record in the Big Ten is dominant and so is he.  Unequivocal.  Nothing will deter him from winning.

It is good news in that in a certain respect the playing field is leveled.  It wasn't blatant or illegal, but it was close.  He was suspended this year for a quarter of this season and that probably factored-in because he is who he is.  Public relations and overall management were never his forte and there is a history there.

But he sure could win football games.

Some will think it is good news because any replacement will be a step down for the Buckeyes.  Naw.  You want to play against the best.  Everyone is better for playing against the best.

He will be missed.
