I was wrong about that one.
The basketball team closed out the Big Ten regular season with as much game as just about any other team in the league save for Purdue. If they progress as they can, they'll have a chance to slay one more naysayer in Nebraska. Michigan has already beaten Michigan State away and recently the Wolverines defeated Ohio State rather easily.
It was just like on Seinfeld when, for some reason, the game started an hour earlier. The OSU game was at home which made them even or possibly a slight favorite. Who knew that top-10, almost gaudy Buckeyes had so little besides Keita Bates-Diop, and even he looks like a one-on-one NBA player? From there Penn State--end of game free throw solution--and Maryland, both away, were surprisingly easy.
One of the turnarounds for the whole team may have been the first Purdue loss. Charles Matthews was a little too much ballhandler.
Ethan Happ? Forget about it. Moe Wagner is the best all-around center in the B1G. The rest of the cast is pretty good too.
John Beilein can be awfully corny, e.g., the t-shirts. No, the airplane crash wasn't staged. It is hard not to watch them right now.
