Florida football. "Reported stolen." It isn't quite the same as a police report (see a few posts down) but it is still a lame-ass excuse. For the team it is not a good way to start the season.
Florida's been the same for nearly a decade. When will Jim McElwain change that?
It just seems like they have a lot of off-field problems and they don't recruit or retain the highest-character kids. So far, and factoring in this incident, there isn't a lot of evidence McElwain is changing that (e.g., Calloway). If you look at their recruiting classes there are definitely highly-ranked players. They're also pretty homogeneous--almost everyone is from Miami, Fort Lauderdale, or Georgia under McElwain.
Will they play disciplined on the field?
RE Michigan, repeat: nobody knows. Harbaugh is playing hide-the-roster too.
