Orange Bowl
Somewhere there was a blurb that said the Florida State strategy is to make Harbaugh mad and that will lead to a win.
It is so ironic that the thing I originally came to like about Jim Harbaugh was his ability to remain calm and stoic under tremendous stress. The cameras are always on them. Most great coaches have it--a firm jaw and even temperament. Like a courtroom lawyer, they are prepared and confident.
Harbaugh needs to... That isn't going to work.
Long ago there was that then-rare glimpse of Harbaugh in the Stanford locker room. He was jumping up and down on tables and chairs, and singing, yelling, and ranting. It was not pleasant to watch. But the players were all in.
He's not going to change. And the players who have stayed have bought in.
Michigan 35-17.
The blogger says Florida State has a few great players but is not that great overall. He is usually wrong. This time he admits it, he relies on history and especially in bowl games history can be misleading. TTB turned the entire month into previews and is impossible to read.
Most pundits predict about a touchdown win for Michigan. Florida State seems more together than Florida, but last year's bowl was about a team moving up versus a team dealing with perpetual problems and moving sideways.
This year, for Michigan, the story is Michigan's stud, senior, Don Brown-led defense and, on offense, a handful of seniors for whom it will be their last game.
Michigan isn't in the playoff. They get to play in a regular bowl just like everyone else. But they're still going to want more.
