The blogger is at it and I believe he is suggesting the South--wherever he chooses to draw the border--should secede. Not what you'd normally see from a Michigan draftee, but that's OK too.
Many of the names in the draft are familiar because maybe half were big-name recruits. It does work in cycles, but Alabama and Ohio State are dominant nonetheless. And Jim "He Doesn't Do Anything Halfway" Harbaugh is determined to change that too. While unpopular here, that is the reality.
The satellite camp fiasco has come and gone for a year and the only good news is that Harbaugh's head cannot get any bigger. That is the way he is and it doesn't come or go with any particular incident or issue.
It does provide more insight. There are restraints already in place (15 consecutive days in July and August) and it isn't such a big deal. So far we haven't seen a real uptick in terms of actual recruiting bodies at Michigan, and with the national phenom/NFL draft choice prospects every top program wants, that is not likely to change. Harbaugh is in it for all kinds of reasons and now we can add two more: 1) this team will rally around the victory and be even better, and 2) it is just another needle, irritant, or potential competitive advantage. Harbaugh is always upfront about it. He will do it every way he can.
Harbaugh's first class was small and there are an awful lot of seniors...
