Jim McElwain looks to have a tough job on his hands. Most of the news going into the Citrus Bowl was about player suspensions, the NFL, injuries, etc., and most of it pertained to Florida in a negative way. Of course they have talent, but it is unrestrained potential. Another way to say it is they are unsuccessful. Remember, McElwain is the source of the "team vote" as to whether Demarcus Robinson would play. The scandals and turnover are too much. No doubt this perspective on things is common in college football, but it has always, and still is, especially bad at Florida.
Jabrill Peppers notwithstanding, Michigan has been more--Harbaugh's favorite word--excited to play the game. They sure looked like the better team. Maybe they were just more prepared and disciplined.
