Gilman in Baltimore must have a great team because both Stephen Spanellis and Devery Hamilton are from there. Or, as the Seinfeld joke goes, at least they take up a lot of space.
Who is Charles F. Flanagan and what does he have to do with Michigan recruiting? Erik Swenson certainly made a name for himself, and yes, business is good.
In terms of Erik When They're Gone They're Gone Swenson, it all goes back to Harbaugh and the weekly 114-player ranking list. It is not a secret.
They are young men and people and it is all ahead for each of them. Some kind of other gear kicked in. Out are Sir Patrick Scott, Antwaine Richardson, and Kiante Enis (2,393 rushing yards/35 TDs). These ex-recruits are added to Dele Harding, Messiah DeWeaver, Matt Falcon, David Reese, and Victor Viramontes. There are rumors with no particular source that Rashad Weaver and Dytarious Johnson are not on particularly strong footing; Nate Johnson and Jordan Elliott are looking iffy too.
Lost a bit in the shuffle is David Long, commit number two from Los Angeles. Good commit number two (Dylan Crawford is the other) from So Cal. Let's just call it a big market, and great schools and football programs like USC and UCLA don't give up easy.
Looking at Jim Harbaugh's resume there are many great accomplishments already. One of the top-5 for all time will be turning Stanford around and still around. "This is a very tough school he said... 15 times. It is like, I get it." Track speed is one of those things--see Jehu Chesson--that stays in your bio too. Long is fast, and a Stanford flip, and great athlete-corners are awfully cool.
Today's news... Allen Gant. Win-win.
