The Week Off

We needed a break, and maybe the players did too, from Harbaughmania.  Probably the thing I first admired about him is his ability to remain stoic and confident under extreme pressure—the ability to not smirk or grin or come off as a prima donna.  In the Michigan State game he and the rest of the sideline lost it and not in an exuberant personality kind of way.  The rise—real on the field—was too much too soon.

Gawd, can you imagine the week that could have been, checking national playoff projections?

This and these are usually fun to read (sans the minutia) but this week it was hard to muster the courage.  Re-watching the game is hard too and, well, Blake bounced one 4-5’s of the length of the field in the first quarter.

Jerry Kill is a really lucky guy.  He got another three years in.
