Game 7 (L)

"And the quarterback wasn't even down on the ground. He's straight up, tried to drop like a sack of potatoes. That was just one (I disagreed with). One of many."

That was Jim Harbaugh, creator and temporary destroyer.

The game was a new definition for “ugly” and that has little to do with which team won or lost.  Probably the questionable calls had something to do with a lot of questionable behavior.  There were an awful lot of timeouts and officials’ reviews, but for the viewer—we have seen this before—it only meant an excuse to leave the room.  There was a lot of yelling and sourness too, even for a game with Mark Dantonio.  The preamble had all kinds of crimes and injuries to report and the aftermath features more of the same.  Too much attached and too much at stake:  ugly.

“All he had to do is catch it and kick it.”  It does affect the standings.

Michigan has evened it up with MSU but in this game they played timidly.  Towards the end of the game they were playing not to lose and…
