Dusty May is at it again.

 

It is pointless to review the Michigan basketball roster in terms of who doesn't or shouldn't matter.  By my count they have FOUR PLAYERS:  Will Tschetter, Tre Donaldson, L.J. Cason, and Phat Phat Brooks.  This is hoping and assuming Roddy is a Gayle.

This is not respectful of anyone.  I am going to stop watching the portal.  Just like last year, I didn't watch or care much about the team in the beginning of the season.  I only showed interest when they were near the top of the Big Ten.  

This portal crap every year with Dusty May is his milieu.  When the team displays more sanity and stability I'll show interest again.

Ridiculous portal acquisition for multi-transfer guy who wants to go to the NBA.  Some Michgan fans saying "We're gonna be great."  UAB, they were pretty good, everyone leaving.

I say who cares.

UPDATE.  Stunning.  Tre Donaldson in portal with broken heart.  I knew May was a hard-ass.  But I remember, when Michigan recruited him out of the portal he declared himself to be the best point guard.  I don't know if he meant in the portal at that time.  He was Michigan's third or at times second best player.  He was clutch.  It certainly seems he was run off, either directly or indirectly. 

The Free Press asked Donaldson if he planned to return to Michigan for his senior season following the loss to Auburn but he opted not to respond to the question. When pressed again for clarification, Donaldson again did not respond directly to the inquiry, but instead implied he was done with the conversation and said "appreciate it." (Source)

Dusty May is not building a solid program.  No one tells the truth (e.g., Wolf).  No one stays.  And he goes back to the well once again with a new bucket aided by a big contract and donor dollars.

 

Michigan man?  EDIT:  Staying.  Kentucky and Michigan was too much and not for everyone.  Wise young man.

He recruited 3 players.  One is in the portal and another doesn't play yet he was Mr. Basketball in Michigan so tenure questions will linger.

Under May the team was all transfer starters and virtually all transfer minutes.  He brought in six transfers.  Two and a half were one year wonders.  Half are in the portal.  One is pending.  One is seemingly back; edit:  NOT.  One should not be back.   

Head coaches allocate scholarships annually.  They are for one year.
