2020 Citrus Bowl

It was one of the most disappointing losses I have ever seen at Michigan.

We will have a long off-season to compile the news and coaching changes.  There are likely to be even more player defections.  Spanellis certainly wasted no time.

With a guy like Jim Harbaugh I wonder how he could succeed yet fail at so many destinations.  Why, when, and how would it happen at Michigan?

I am, of course, only speaking for myself.

I too will have plenty of time to finish this.

For Harbaugh and Don Brown it is a lie.  Faster and smaller is an illusion.

Sure it is great to play the best, or at least close to it.  But to be humiliated and have your whole program laid bare with no solution in sight is not a happy new year.

Why did it happen?  They came out throwing in the second half and Shea Patterson and the receivers did not get it done that way.  Nobody said anything about why starting safety Brad Hawkins was out and freshman Daxton Hill is certainly not an upgrade.   Michael Dwumfour was injured again and Carlo Kemp was inexplicably out.  Chris Hinton played a lot and did not get it done; Jess Speight started.  Kwitty Paye and Josh Ushe were nonexistent.

Dylan McCaffrey did not play, nor did much of the future on defense.  Next year looks worse.
