Who you marry (or so to speak) is another one. But aside from that there aren't many other non-criminal ways to show what you care about than where you work.
In Colorado pot is legal, for example, but I wouldn't work there even though I support it. I wouldn't be a used car salesman at a disreputable business either. There are many, many other examples. Others are free to do it, I'm just very picky, and lucky to be in a position to choose, about that.
Ed, your actions are to be applauded. The comments at mgoblog are pretty sickening (the few I've read; maybe someone showed a little class later on). It is rare to see such rationalizations. One I saw is once you're a fan you're always a fan; another is supposition that he is probably going to get fired from ESPN.
But Mr. Cunningham is misdirected. If you have a lot of concussions by the time you are a college player you should get out. Other than that CTE appears much more to be a professional problem. How to solve that is simple: play football, earn a scholarship, and get out.
