Oregon preview, prediction, and game

Michigan is just missing their shots.  If they made just a few they're up 10.  They're going to have a strategy and there will be risk.  Remember, 3 for two.

The announcers...  Like Grant Hill, Reggie Miller knows basketball.  It is almost like he sensed it.  He is critical and right.  He caught himself, they're never really out of it.  Still, "critical possession" down 3 or 4 with 13:00 left?  That was Bonner.

Oregon had a glossy record and high seeding coming in.

Maybe this is how reporters do it.  "Game chronology summary" during the game.  Dorsey can be controlled with good defense.  Cliche:  attack Duncan Robinson on defense.  Ennis, he's the guy who smashed on his back.

D.J. Wilson is really good on defense.  Play defense and they will miss shots (e.g., Ethan Happ).  Make yours and we'll win.

I think the announcers are wrong:  Michigan wants to slow it down.  Walton and Michigan is ahead.

Correction or edit.  I like the two-analyst set-up.  Let them express their opinions.  You can tell they encourage expression.

No Wagner.  Lots of Duncan Robinson.

Wilson all run has made them all run but this one was off.

Smart, fouls to give.  And Walton missed too, but a three wasn't needed.  Still, it was a good shot.

I was wrong, Oregon has athletes.
Brooks and Dorsey did make plays.
Michigan has been a better second half team, they said.  In other words, they play smart and they make adjustments.
Beilein is saying "Settle down and make the shot."  Plus I don't know what.
Oregon 35-33 at half.  Could a playing D.J. Wilson be the difference?

Cannot say Vaagner.

----
I saw the Oregon State-Rhode Island game and maybe a few other bits of Oregon games.

I was pulling for Rhode Island because I thought they were the better team and were more fun to watch, plus they would have been a better match-up for Michigan because of their small size.  Oregon didn't look disciplined (no team offense) or like great athletes (not good team defense).

Dylan Brooks and Tyler Dorsey do hit big shots and make plays.  Dylan Brooks in particular almost fell to the floor several times because he was out of control and banging-into people.  There must be a way to defend them and or cause them to foul.

Michigan is good when they play hard, such as going after loose balls, steals, and offensive rebounds.

Of course they're all going to play hard for the entire game.  Michigan players now know what that is like.

Michigan 80-70.
