As always mgoblogging is first with news.
Slow day, so...
This may be better; lots of legal opinions. Too many.
Here's the reason we are learning about the law: Grant Perry.
One observer noted he looks a little shady and that's good enough for me.
Maurice Hurst is coming back. Jabrill Peppers has not been in the news (as a draft pick). Donovan Peoples-Jones, Ambry Thomas, Tarik Black, Cesar Ruiz, and others, means recruiting is going very well.
Things like this and Grant Perry normally keep the newsroom busy, even at Michigan. Something happened in East Lansing had long been the rumor. If he is arrested and suspended Jim Harbaugh and the coaches had to know why. Still, crush a 19-year-old over such an incident? Police and victims can make mistakes too.
If you were writing fiction it would be difficult to come up with them. Jumping off the balcony in Southern California--the pool rescue excuse--is still the all-time winner. It is hard to believe it could happen standing in line. Standing in line and running, that is.
The problem, except for those facing Perry, is the noxious publicity. Good or bad, Michigan gets pub. Yahoo! covered it. On espn.com the headline was about the Michigan WR who hit an officer.
Of course it is not that severe. But it is severe enough to rise to this.
