Post Badgers

EDIT.  I was curious to see recruits' impressions because of Harbaugh.  The TV cameras didn't show him much but he appeared to be in full tantrum mode.  Being led away by two officials didn't look good.  He can be too intense at times as evidenced by his post game videos--you know, the ones where he is put in front of a camera head-on for twenty minutes.  His dark eyes stare and you can see the intensity deflate, and that is after a win.  He went from career ending-injury to great win without taking a breath.  There's no need for transcripts anymore because you can see it for yourself.  Visitor reaction is positive.

And tech-knowledge improvements continue with JUB and the Blogger.  Audio and gadget/eBay mp3 players.  I would love to see the people who come to see Brian Cook and Ace.  John U. Bacon, he of the expert Les Miles tweet, was funny for a few minutes; don't call me Dave.  Kids and a career at mgoblog?  Wow.

Bacon was, emphasis on was, right.  In this one Michigan outplayed Wisconsin and, breaks included, deserved to win.  But, led by Harbaugh, they pretty much self-imploded.  They're going to have to do better against Ohio State.

The link above pretty much covers it about Wisconsin.  Why don't you just secede from the nation and start your own league?  But it is only one man:  Barry Alvarez, he of the I'm-so-great I'll let the coach walk away and coach the team myself episode.

Since the wizard at mgovideo and his cronies have not distributed the full game yet (Sunday morning!) to provide a real review, we'll  have to look around the league and country.  It is funny how the stereotypes, like above, fester.

  • Penn State beat Minnesota and that is great.  Minnesota is up to their continual garbage and their coach has nothing to say.  Tracy Claeys is the kind of guy who is sticking to a formula that is not even his and should have never been hired.  Jourdan Lewis joked about it.  Anyway, Penn State, under that microscope, will do the right things and be good, hopefully with James Franklin.
  • Northwestern won too.  The despot in Iowa City got an extension and will never change.  The only exercise is about being champion and you have to live in the real world to do it.  Northwestern has its problems but they're always smart, clean, and fun to root for.
  • Urbz and Ohio State are king and will be until dethroned.  Chinks are not showing this year.
  • You know you are in trouble and there's more to come when you hire Brady Hoke.  Your whole identity relates to speed and you hire fat and slow?  Rich Rod isn't fairing too well either.  "Flipping a program?"  Good for you, Colorado.
  • The SEC is dull. The Pac-12 is fairly exciting.
Cutting the cable is the smartest thing I ever did.  There are so many more games simply on the internet.  And this is the busy season, for about three months.  No Nebraska.  Iowa was like, they're good people, but...
